Physical Location of Historical Society, Museums, or Buildings:
1789 Corner School located on the corner of the River and Poocham Road in Westmoreland.

Established:  1955

Dues and Membership:  $5 Individual, $10 Household, $25 Business, $50 Life Member

Current Members:  35 and growning

Meetings:  7 p.m. 1st Monday of April, May, June, October & November; and 1st Tuesday of September at either the Fellowship Hall, Town Hall, Corner School House or special “Tour” location as advertised. New Members and visitors are always welcome.

Special Annual Events and Programs:  Annual Pot Luck Supper before the November meeting.

Publications:
- History of Westmoreland, New Hampshire (2nd printing & available at Town Hall) - $35.00
- Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust: Cemetery and Burial Records - $30.00
- "Homes of Westmoreland" manuscript will be published early in 2009. Donor/Patron listing is now available for $100. This hard cover book is being prepared for printing. It will contain pictures of most houses and written narrative of the history of each property including the original builder and inhabitants from the late 1700’s to present. There will be a limited number of signed and “numbered editions” for prepublication donors. Donor’s names will appear in the front of the book.

Our Mission:
To preserve and maintain the Corner School House and communicate the historical past of our town. We have informative public talks and presentations by local historians and continue research on our “Homes of Westmoreland” publication.
