Wyman Tavern Forum: Creating a Community Museum

The Historical Society of Cheshire County has been developing a long range plan for its Wyman Tavern Museum that is more responsive to community needs. On Tuesday October 6th, HSCC will host a final forum to present its draft plan in its Exhibit Hall beginning at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, HSCC seeks community comments, discussion, and support for its draft plan and future use of its historic Tavern.

Copies of the draft long range plan may be obtained at the Historical Society or viewed online at the HSCC website at www.hsccnh.org/wymantavern.cfm. HSCC's staff and trustees encourage everyone who has an interest in the future of the Wyman Tavern and the preservation of the region's historic buildings to attend this important forum. It is our goal to have the Wyman Tavern become an active, community oriented museum that enriches the lives of everyone. With your comments and support, we can shape the future use of Keene's most historic structure to reach this goal. The Historical Society is located at 246 Main Street in Keene.
