DVD on Train Travel in Monadnock Region is now for Sale

The DVD on Trolleys, Trains and Flyers, which was screened at the Colonial Theatre on April 19, is now for sale at the Historical Society of Cheshire County, the Keene Public Library, Toadstool Bookshop in Keene, or on the Historical Society's website at www.hsccnh.org. The DVD is the work of the Reflections Project, a collaborative oral history undertaking involving Cheshire Television, the Historical Society of Cheshire County, the Monadnock Institute of Nature, Place and Culture at Franklin Pierce University, the Keene Public Library, the Keene Sentinel and Keene State College. The DVD includes interviews with local residents, photographs, and film footage from the romantic age of rail travel in the Monadnock Region. The cost of the DVD is $15. Proceeds from the DVD sales support the Reflections Project, which also produced a DVD on the Hurricane of 1938 and is working on 3 additional oral histories on Pisgah Park, the Colony Mill, and the County Farm and House of Correction. Pisgah Park - A Place Apart will premiere at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Colonial Theatre.

To purchase this DVD on-line, go to the Historical Society's Museum Store.
