June Meeting of Monadnock Historical Societies Forum at Westmoreland Town Hall

The spring meeting of the Monadnock Historical Societies Forum will be hosted by the Westmoreland Historical Society at the Westmoreland Town Hall on June 18, beginning at 9:30 am. The Monadnock Historical Societies Forum provides an avenue for the more than 30 historically-oriented organizations in the Monadnock region to pool their collective knowledge to support the collection, preservation, and communication of local history. Anyone interested in local history in Cheshire County is encouraged to attend.

The morning meeting will include time for sharing news and events and issues of concern as well as for continued planning for the collaborative exhibit on education and schools. After a brownbag lunch, participants will tour the Westmoreland Corner School House and learn of restoration efforts.
