This group is very small with only one small series entitled "SUBJECT FILE". The materials are from the years 1898, 1919, and 1977. The items are filed chronologically within each sub ject unless otherwise stated.

Harrisville, New Hampshire was incorporated on July 2, 1870 from parts of Dublin and Nelson. It was settled by Thomas Packer in 1762. There was a village of Harrisville long before the incorporation. The name was taken from Bethuel Harris who set up a business there in 1820.
