Welcome to the Historical Society of Cheshire County's web site. HSCC is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to collecting, preserving, and communicating the history of Cheshire County, New Hampshire. What Is New at HSCCNew Saturday Hours: Through December 2013, HSCC will be open on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon. HSCC's Winter Exhibit, "The Power of Water: The History of Water Powered Mills in the Monadnock Region" is on view in HSCC's Exhibit Hall through Saturday, June 29, 2013 during regular museum hours. HSCC will offer a Gallery Walk of the exhibit "The Power of Water" on Saturday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. Three-day Teacher Workshop on "Settling New Hampshire and the Upper Connecticut River Valley" on Wednesday-Friday, June 26-28.
